The Sync stock from a channel setting lets you control how inventory updates flow from your connected sales channels into Nembol.

For each channel you can decide whether it is allowed to update Nembol’s central stock in two different situations:

  • when an order is received
  • when stock is edited

This gives you full control over which systems are allowed to influence your central inventory.

When an order is received

You can choose whether orders coming from a specific channel should update Nembol stock.

If enabled for a channel:

  • every sale made on that channel is sent to Nembol,
  • Nembol decreases inventory accordingly,
  • the updated stock is then synchronized to all connected channels.

When stock is edited

You can also decide whether inventory changes made directly in a channel should update Nembol stock.

This option is available for the following channels: WooCommerce, Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, eBay, and Square.

If enabled for a channel, any change in stock quantity made on that channel will be sent to Nembol

Nembol will treat these updates as the source of truth for that change and will propagate the updated stock to all other connected channels.

Note: Every inventory update made in Nembol is always propagated to all connected channels.
