How to connect PrestaShop to Nembol
PrestaShop side
- Log in to your PrestaShop back office with an administrator account.
- Go to Configure > Advanced Parameters > Webservice.
- Click Add new webservice key.
- Click Generate to create a 32-character key. Copy it: you’ll paste it into Nembol later.
- Under Permissions, tick all permissions for every resource, so Nembol has full access.
- Set the key status to Enabled and click Save.
- Back on the Webservice page, in the Configuration section, set Enable PrestaShop’s webservice to Yes and click Save.
Missing permissions
If your Webservice key is missing some permissions, Nembol shows a Missing PrestaShop API permissions notice in the PrestaShop channel settings. The notice tells you:
- which actions won’t work correctly until you fix it (for example Import products, Publish products, Edit price & stock, Delist products)
- which resources to enable on your key and which methods to tick (for example Stock / quantity: GET, PUT)
To fix it, go to Advanced Parameters > Webservice in your PrestaShop back office, edit your key, tick the boxes listed in the notice, save, then reopen the PrestaShop settings in Nembol.
Now you’re ready to connect PrestaShop to Nembol:
- Go to the Channels tab.
- Click Connect channels + and select PrestaShop.
- Enter your store’s homepage URL. If your site uses an SSL certificate, add
https://at the beginning. - Paste your Webservice key.
- Click Connect.

Sync stock from a channel
When an order is received
- Paid PrestaShop orders are imported into Nembol.
- Stock in Nembol is reduced after a PrestaShop sale.
- The new stock level is sent to your other connected channels.
Only paid orders reduce stock. Orders that are pending or awaiting payment don’t change your inventory.
Steps: Channels tab → Common Settings → edit When an order is received → select PrestaShop → choose the channels to keep in sync. Changes save automatically.
When stock is edited
Not available for PrestaShop.
Push updates to channels
Changes you make in Nembol can be pushed to PrestaShop for: title, description, images, price and quantity.
Steps: Channels tab → Common Settings → Push updates to channels → edit → select PrestaShop. Changes save automatically.
Pull content from a channel
Not available for PrestaShop. Manage your product content in Nembol and push it to PrestaShop.
Publish to PrestaShop
Publish settings
Use these settings to decide how your products appear on PrestaShop when you publish them from Nembol.
Listing details
- Product status: decides whether customers can see your products as soon as they’re published. Choose Active to put them on sale right away, or Draft if you want to check them in PrestaShop before making them visible.
- Category: the PrestaShop category your products are added to when you publish them. The menu lists the categories you’ve already created in your store. If you leave the main category (Root), products won’t appear in any specific section of your store.
Title
- Title prefix: text that Nembol automatically adds at the beginning of every product title on PrestaShop. It’s useful if you want all titles to start with your brand name, for example “Acme — Cotton T-shirt”. Your titles in Nembol and on your other channels don’t change.
- Shorten long titles: PrestaShop doesn’t accept product names longer than 128 characters, so products with longer titles can’t be published. Turn this on and Nembol cuts those titles to 128 characters for you. Your titles in Nembol and on your other channels don’t change.
Import from PrestaShop
Import settings
Use these settings to choose which PrestaShop products Nembol brings in.
Import filters
- Quantity in stock: lets you skip products based on how many items you have in stock. For example, set it to More than 0 to import only the products you actually have available and leave out the sold-out ones. If you want to import your whole catalog, sold-out products included, change the condition so that products with 0 items are included too.
How variants work on PrestaShop
In PrestaShop, product variants are called combinations. Nembol supports multi-variant products with up to 2 variation axes, for example size and color.
Each combination can have its own:
- Price
- Quantity
- EAN
- Image
Images attached to combinations are imported into Nembol, and when you publish, each variant is sent with its own image.
Orders and shipping
PrestaShop orders are imported into Nembol automatically.
When you add a tracking number to a PrestaShop order in Nembol:
- The tracking number is written to the PrestaShop order.
- The order status changes to Shipped.
- PrestaShop sends the shipping confirmation email to your customer.
The tracking number is added to the carrier already assigned to the order. Nembol doesn’t change the order’s carrier.
How to run Promotions on PrestaShop through Nembol
You can schedule promotions for PrestaShop from the Promotions tab in Nembol. Discounts start and end automatically, so you don’t have to change prices by hand.
Nembol uses PrestaShop’s native specific prices:
- The discount applies only within the dates you set.
- Your base price in PrestaShop is never changed.
- Nembol only manages the promotions it creates. Promotions you set up directly in PrestaShop are left untouched.
Things to know about PrestaShop
- Edits made in PrestaShop don’t sync to Nembol. PrestaShop’s API doesn’t send real-time notifications (webhooks), so changes you make directly in PrestaShop to titles, descriptions, photos, prices or quantities aren’t pulled into Nembol or sent to your other channels. To keep everything aligned, make your edits in Nembol. Sales are the exception: PrestaShop orders always update your stock.
- Carrier mapping isn’t supported. Nembol writes the tracking number to the carrier already assigned to the order.
- Order transfer to PrestaShop isn’t available. You can’t send orders from other channels to PrestaShop for fulfillment.
- Customized stores. Heavily customized PrestaShop stores, or stores with modules that change how products and orders work, may not behave as expected.
