What is Nembol Storefront

Storefront is Nembol’s built-in ecommerce website that allows sellers to create their own branded online store and expand beyond marketplaces.

Instead of relying only on marketplaces such as eBay, Etsy, TikTok Shop, or Amazon, Storefront turns your existing Nembol product catalog into a direct sales channel where you control your brand, customer experience, and product presentation.

Storefront automatically generates a mobile-friendly ecommerce website including:

  • Product catalog automatically created from your Nembol listings
  • Shopping cart and secure checkout
  • Payment integration with Stripe or PayPal
  • Shipping management with customizable shipping zones and rates
  • Return policy management
  • Discount codes and product bundles
  • Links to your marketplace listings
  • Branded store customization options
  • Customer communication through WhatsApp, Telegram, and social channels

With Storefront, sellers can build stronger relationships with customers, reduce dependency on marketplace fees, and manage sales through their own online channel.

How to connect a custom domain

By default your Storefront is published on a Nembol subdomain. You can serve it from your own domain instead, so buyers reach your store at your own web address.

Three of the four steps below are yours; the last one Nembol takes care of.

1. Point your domain to Nembol
Your domain name server has to send any request for your domain to Nembol’s IP address. Log in to your domain provider, open the DNS settings (your provider may call it Domain Management) and create an A record with these values:

  • Type: A
  • Value: 88.99.58.114 (Nembol’s IP address)
  • Host / Name: @ (if your provider asks for one)

If an A record already exists for the domain, edit that one rather than adding a second, and delete any other A record for the same domain so nothing conflicts.

In the image below, we show an example from whois.com. If you use a different provider, such as GoDaddy or another domain registrar, you will find a dedicated field for this in all of them.

2. Declare your subdomains
Add any subdomain you want to serve the same store. Typically the main domain is mydomain.com and the subdomain is www.mydomain.com, so declare both and buyers reach you either way.

3. Tell Nembol which domain to answer for
In Nembol, open Storefront → General → Custom domain and enter the domain exactly as your buyers will type it — exactly what your A record points at. Then click Save.

4. Wait while Nembol secures the connection
Once you save, Nembol runs its verifications on its own. When they pass it sets up the secure HTTPS connection that is today’s web standard. There is nothing for you to do at this stage: while it is in progress your domain shows Securing connection, alongside a note confirming the DNS is correct and the domain is being activated.

Allow a few hours for the domain to go live. DNS changes made at your provider can take 24 to 48 hours to propagate on their own. If your store is still unreachable after that, check that the A record points to 88.99.58.114 and that no other A record for the same domain has been left in place.

Configure selling options

The Selling area includes the tools to manage how customers purchase from your online store, including payments, shipping, and sales promotions.

It includes:

  • Get paid: connect payment providers such as PayPal and Stripe to allow customers to pay directly through your online store. Nembol does not add transaction fees on payments processed through these providers.
  • Shipping: define where you ship and how shipping costs are calculated. Set free shipping or create shipping rates based on destination zones.
  • Discount codes: create promotional codes that customers can apply at checkout to support marketing campaigns, attract new buyers, or reward returning customers.
  • Bundles: combine multiple products into special offers to encourage larger purchases and increase the value of each order.

Manage policies and analytics

The Manage area brings together the tools that help you run your online store after it’s been set up. Here you can define the information customers see before purchasing and monitor how your store is performing over time.

It includes:

  • Policies: publish the policies that customers can consult before placing an order, including your return policy and Terms & Conditions. You can define the return window, choose who covers return shipping costs, and keep your return policy automatically synchronized with Google Merchant Center.
  • Analytics: gain insights into your store’s performance through built-in, cookieless analytics. Review visitor trends, orders, revenue, conversion rate, traffic sources, and your most viewed products to understand how customers interact with your store and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Additional Storefront benefits

Storefront offers additional advantages for multichannel sellers:

  • Built for search and AI discovery – Every store is generated with SEO and GEO best practices in mind, including search-engine-friendly pages, structured data, canonical URLs, sitemaps, and metadata. This helps your products become more discoverable in traditional search engines as well as emerging AI-powered search experiences.
  • Sell on Google without building a website from scratch – If you sell on marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Etsy, TikTok Shop, or OnBuy but don’t have your own website, Storefront provides a ready-to-use ecommerce site connected to your existing Nembol catalog. It can be used as your verified website for Google Merchant Center, allowing you to start selling on Google without creating a separate ecommerce store.
