Reasons
Previously, whenever any product field was updated, our system automatically activated the corresponding listings on Etsy.
However, we received feedback from many users who found this automatic reactivation to be inconvenient for their specific needs. Therefore, we tried to find a solution that would suit anyone.
As a result, we decided to update the listings, but without having them automatically reactivated.
Now, when updates are made, the listings on Etsy are updated as well but remain in an inactive state.
This gives each user the freedom to manually decide which listings they wish to activate and which ones they prefer to keep inactive, depending on their preferences and circumstances.
Bottom line: you can update your listings but to have the listing active you should go on Etsy and activate it manually afterward.
