Why do I see fewer pictures on Etsy compared to Shopify?

After publishing a listing from Shopify (or other channels) to Etsy, I see fewer pictures listed on my Etsy shop compared to Shopify.

Cause

Etsy currently accepts up to 20 pictures per listing.

Therefore, when you use Nembol to publish your Shopify listings on Etsy, Nembol will:

  1. Import your Shopify listings with all their pictures.
  2. Publish your listings on Etsy, and automatically remove extra pictures to comply with Etsy’s requirements.

This is the reason why you have fewer pictures on Etsy than on the original listing on Shopify.

Please refer to Etsy’s official documentation for the curreny number of pictures accepted.
