Cause
This error appears when you try to list a product on WooCommerce that was previously added and then moved to the Trash. The product is still registered in WooCommerce’s internal SKU lookup table, so WooCommerce refuses to create it again.
Solution
Option 1
Permanently delete the product from WooCommerce Trash
Go to WooCommerce → Products → Trash, find the affected product, and delete it permanently. Once it’s fully removed, WooCommerce will release the SKU and you can list it again from Nembol.
Option 2
Re-list from WooCommerce and re-import
Delete the product in Nembol, re-list it from WooCommerce, then import it back into Nembol. This assigns a fresh SKU cycle and avoids the conflict.
It may happen that the error persists even after emptying the Trash
When the Trash is emptied, WooCommerce deletes the product but doesn’t always remove its SKU from the internal registry. This leftover “ghost entry” blocks any new product with the same SKU, even though nothing exists on your store anymore. This is a known WooCommerce behavior; Nembol is sending your products correctly.
In this case, ask your developer or hosting provider to run a quick cleanup query on the WooCommerce database to remove the stale SKU records. Once done, you can list the affected products from Nembol again.
Note: When you delist a product from WooCommerce via Nembol, Nembol permanently deletes it from your store, no Trash involved. This means the SKU is fully released and this error will never occur for products managed through Nembol.
