Complete error description: “My products in Etsy are in the right shop section but in the wrong Category” “My Etsy listings are in the wrong Category”
Solution: Automatic Category
In the Etsy Publish settings within Nembol, you can select an Etsy category for bulk listing of products (note that you can bulk list from 1 to 200 products at a time in Etsy with Nembol).
You can choose from categories used in the last 200 active Etsy listings, or pick the Automatic category, which will assign your next listings to the most frequently used category from the last 100 active Etsy listings.
You can of course edit any of this later inside your Etsy account if you so need.
You can pick your preferred listing category and shop section in Nembol, or let Nembol do it automatically.
How to automatically categorize listings on Etsy
When you list an item in your Etsy store manager (see screenshot below), Etsy offers a way to choose a category starting from some keyword. The problem is, you can do it only one item at a time. Not really practicable when you are bulk-listing products from other channels, like eBay and Shopify.
This is why Nembol represents a great solution to list faster and to list on Etsy directly from other platforms such as eBay or Shopify.
Nembol automatically picks the category for you
- Nembol analyzes your most used categories among your latest 200 active listings.
- Then, you can either choose a category from the shortlist generated by Nembol. All of your items will be placed here.
- Or you can pick the Automatic category, and Nembol will always use the most recurrent category among your latest 100 active listings.
Once you selected a category, we suggest listing in bulk all items that belong to it. Then, you move on to the next category, list in bulk your products, and so on.
You can access the category setting in your Etsy Publish settings in your Channels Tab.
This smart solution allows you to save a large amount of time when publishing your listings in bulk on Etsy from other channels such as eBay, Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, or PrestaShop.
