Why each channel needs its own text
Every marketplace ranks products with its own search algorithm. A title written to rank on one is rarely the best title for the other.
In Nembol, one product can carry a different title and description on each platform, written and managed centrally. You keep a single product, a single stock figure and a single place to edit, while each channel gets text tuned to its own audience and its own algorithm.
How per-channel texts work
Products already on multiple channels
- When you import products, Nembol saves the titles and descriptions that already exist on each sales channel, ensuring that your existing marketplace work is preserved.
- Each imported product keeps a separate version of its listing content for every channel.
- Example: A product with SKU “A” imported from both Etsy and eBay will show both the Etsy and eBay titles and descriptions inside Nembol. This also makes Nembol a reliable backup solution for your marketplace listings.
Products published with Nembol
- When you publish a product through Nembol, the listing is initially created using the default text from the source channel.
- Until you customize a specific channel, Nembol automatically uses the product’s main title and description. You only need to edit the channels where you want different content.
- Example: A product with SKU “A” is imported from Etsy and published to TikTok and eBay through Nembol. The initial listings on TikTok Shop and eBay use the Etsy title and description. You can then customize each channel separately by assigning different titles and descriptions for TikTok Shop and eBay.
Editing a channel's title or description
- Open the product in Nembol’s product editor.
- With two or more channels connected, a channel switcher appears above the Title and Description fields.
- Select the channel you want to write for.
- Edit the title or the description. What you write replaces the inherited text for that channel only; every other channel is left as it was.
Please note: If you have enabled the "Pull content from a channel" setting, the content from your selected source channel will overwrite both the main product texts and the existing per-channel texts on your other channels. Before customizing your listings, make sure to review this setting in Central Product Editing.
Optimize titles and descriptions with AI
Writing a different title for every product on every channel takes time. Nembol’s Optimize with AI button does the work for you.
- Open the product editor.
- Whether you want to optimize title or description, click the dedicated Optimize button close to it.
- In the new window, you can add keywords, choose the channel you want to optimize for, and click Generate to create a new suggestion.
- If you’re happy with the result, click Insert.
- The title is inserted only into the selected channel, leaving the titles for your other channels unchanged.
- If you close the window instead, no changes are made.
You can always edit the generated title afterwards. AI optimization gives you a starting point—not a final, locked title.
